Derivation of Shadow Price of Sea Turtle Bycatch in Hawaii-based Longline Fisheries: An Input Distance Function Approach


Sea turtle conservation is one of the most important issues facing Hawaii-based longline fisheries. Swordfish and mixed-target fishing are usually shallow sets with high rates of turtle capture.
