New official method for estimation of charter boat trips 
in the Gulf of Mexico region...

Note that the 2000 estimates reflect the new charter vessel telephone
survey in the Gulf of Mexico region.  Thus, for charter boat mode 
in the Gulf region, the effort files will not contain all the variables
typically calculated in the MRFSS random digit dialing effort survey.

The trip estimates for a given mode are still in the variable "NUMRTRIP"
and its associated variance is in "NUMVAR" in the SAS dataset "AG2000".
