How to resize and zoom your browser view

For the best navigating experience with NAUPLIUS Explorer, you will want to be able to see and click on the entire interface within your browser's window.   In some cases, you may need to change the zoom level of your browser window to make everything fit.

If you have a touch-screen device (computer or tablet):
  1. Make the browser window itself as large as possible, ideally full screen.
  2. Use the touch screen "pinch" technique to zoom the browser view field to encompass then entire NAUPLIUS Explorer box.
If you have a mouse with a scrolling wheel:
  1. Make the browser window itself as large as possible, ideally full screen.
  2. Click an empty location within the browser screen (anywhere but on button or link).
  3. Hold down the "Ctrl" button on your keyboard and then roll the mouse scrolling wheel up (to make zoom in) or down (to zoom out).
Other browser-specific Options:
  • Many browser will zoom in/out if you type "Ctrl" and "+" or "Ctrl" and "-" on the keyboard.
  • Chrome and Firefox:   Click the browser's options button (the shape is three horizontal lines, in the upper right corner).   Click on the "-" or "+" buttons at the top of this menu to zoom in/out.
  • Internet Explorer:   Click the browser's options button (the shape is a gear, in the upper right corner).   Click on the Zoom sub-menu and then zoom in/out as needed.
Additional comments:
  • The above operations are reducing the entire screen zoom level.   Changing the font size will not help, as it does not reduce the size of the figures.
  • If you have a laptop with a smaller screen height, fit the Explorer to at least screen width.   You may need to scroll up and down to access the lower variable menus, but should at least be able to see both figures in the upper portion.
