Revealed Preference Valuation Surveys

NMFS began it recreational economic surveying efforts in 1994 by collecting information necessary to estimate our random utility models of recreational site choice. These models are used for estimation of the total value of access to recreational saltwater fishing and can be used to estimate environmental damages to recreational fishermen. We collect this type of data every time we put any sort of survey in the field.
