This is zooplankton biomass data from the IMR Norwegian Sea survey, made in April-June during the years 1995 to 2005. It is total dry mass (sum of all sizes) and also biomass of individual size fractions (180+, 1000+ and 2000+ microns). From the 2000+ fraction, krill, shrimp and small fishes were selected and measured.

The majority of the samples are taken by WP2 nets from 200-0 m, but MOCNESS (nets) were used during some early years.
