Executive Steering Committee

The Executive Steering Committee is made up of the chairs of the interstate fisheries commissions, prominent members of the fishery management councils, and NOAA Fisheries.  This state-federal group is the initiative’s decision-making body.

Meetings

  • March 27, 2007  - The Marine Recreational Information Program Executive Steering Committee (ESC), Chaired by Dr. John Boreman, Director of NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service (NOAA Fisheries) Office of Science & Technology, met in Seattle, Washington on March 27 – 28, 2007 for its inaugural meeting.
  • May 24, 2007 - The Marine Recreational Information Program Executive Steering Committee (ESC), Chaired by Dr. John Boreman, Director of NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service (NOAA Fisheries) Office of Science & Technology, met in Silver Spring, Maryland on May 24, 2007 via video and teleconference.
  • June 7, 2007 -The Marine Recreational Information (MRI) Program Executive Steering Committee (ESC), chaired by Dr. John Boreman, Director of NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service (NOAA Fisheries) Office of Science & Technology, met in Silver Spring, Maryland on June 7, 2007.
