Design & Analysis Work Group

The Design & Analysis work group addresses assumptions and sources of bias in the current program and develops new data collection methodologies for more timely, precise, and accurate estimates of recreational catch and fishing effort. The team is charged with ensuring that data collection and analyses meet the demands of fisheries managers by developing a system of surveys that provide more robust information on angler catch and effort with a workable transition from the existing surveys.
