Draft Strategic Research Plan - Public Comment Submission

Public involvement is critical for the development of a robust and relevant response to the
impacts of ocean acidification. We encourage the public to submit comments and input on the
draft Strategic Plan for Federal Research and Monitoring of Ocean Acidification.

General comments are welcome and specific comments are invited on: (a) whether the proposed
strategy meets the requirements of the FOARAM legislation, (b) whether the proposed strategy
meets the ocean acidification research needs of the US; (c) ways to enhance the quality, utility,
and clarity of the strategy; and (d) any additional information that is currently absent that needs
to be included. Comments submitted in response to this notice will become a matter of public
record and will be posted online together with responses from the Interagency Working Group.
All comments will be taken seriously and addressed in the Strategic Research Plan to the extent
possible.
