IWG-OA Issues First Report to Congress

The IWG-OA's Initial Report on Federally Funded Ocean Acidification Research and Monitoring Activities and Progress in Developing a Strategic Plan was finalized and submitted to Congress on March 22, 2011. This report was mandated by the Federal Ocean Acidification Research and Monitoring ( FOARAM ) Act. It includes a summary of federally-funded ocean acidification research and monitoring during Fiscal Years 2008 and 2009, as well as an overview of the IWG-OA's progress in developing a federal strategic research plan.
