The Dove Marine Laboratory (Cullercoats, North Shields, England) plankton sampling station lies approximately 5.5 nautical miles east of Blyth on the Northumberland coast in the North Sea.

The Dove time-series is one of the longest-running coastal zooplankton time series in the UK. Samples have been collected at roughly monthly intervals since 1971 using WP3 (1 mm mesh), WP2 (200 µm mesh) and fine mesh (65 µm mesh) ring-nets.
