Since 1988, a time series of zooplankton was initiated at Antofagasta in the Bay of Mejillones. Prior to 2010, this site was only sampled twice a year (summer and winter). From 2010 onward nearly monthly sampling has been made at the site. Samples were obtain with a 200 µm WP2 net, towed from between 50 m and 20 m to the surface. Water volume filtered was estimated from depth of deployment. All sampling was performed during daylight hours.
