SAMPLING METADATA

Sampling and Processing Summary
These data were sampled aboard the RV Atlantis II with a 1-m2 MOCNESS with 9 nets each having a mesh size of 335 micrometers (Wiebe et al., 1976).

Large plankter were removed and the samples were preserved in sodium-borate buffered 4-percent formalin seawater. Samples were split with a Folsom splitter to approximately 300-600 animals for counting.
